Shane is a strong comedic/character actor -since 2004 he has played comedic characters for dozens of TV commercials for companies such as Bell TV, Europes Best, Volkswagen, Amsterdam Beer, Maple Leaf Foods, CMT and Goldsky.

Shane garnered a number of strong reviews for his playing of Detective Sgt. Ken Walby in the multi-award winning film 'Long Pigs'. In the past decade he is credited with playing in a number of police/detective roles in both TV and film.

Solidifying his strength as a character actor, Shane successfully played James Van Sickle -a gay killer- in a TV episode of 'Nothing Personal'.

More recently, Shane has played the disturbing lead role of a serial killing writer in the film 'Wicked Sway'

Shane is ex-military and has extensive weapons training and experience.
